Querent
Querent is a mobile-first neo-tarot card battler. Every match is 8 turns and lasts about 3 minutes. There are no pre-built decks: each turn you draft one of three offered cards, then the opponent does the same. Skill comes from what you pick and when, not from grinding a collection.
The cards belong to four suits — Blade, Chalice, Coin, and Star — and carry effects from a small but expressive vocabulary: same-suit synergy bonuses, scoring multipliers, opponent drain, mirror echoes, late-game strikes. The interplay creates real decisions every single turn, which is the whole point.
Modes
• Vs. AI — easy mode shows you each card's effective score so the math is visible; hard mode hides the preview and ramps the AI to optimal play.
• Daily — every player gets the same card sequence, so you can compare grids with friends like Wordle.
• Puzzles — pre-built board states with a single correct line of play.
• Hot-seat PvP — pass the device, both players draft live.
• Online PvP — share a room code, play someone on the other side of the world.
Made for short sessions. Every match is the same length. Pick it up between meetings, finish it before your coffee cools.
